Where unwanted animals
are wanted and welcomed
Named for an abandoned pit
bull blind from retinal degenerative disease and rescued from the streets, Irving House is a non-profit sanctuary
dedicated to providing a safe haven for older animals and animals with special needs. A lover not a fighter, Irving's
courageous spirit defied the odds of surviving life on the street and despite the cruelties he faced but couldn't
see remains a sweet natured, gentle tempered dog who just wanted a place he could call home. Such is the mission of
Irving House. Not a shelter or adoption facility, Irving House is designed for allowing animals like Irving, who otherwise
would face life in a cage or worse, to live out the remainder of their lives in safety, comfort, and love while
providing whatever medical attention they may require.
Irving House Animal Sanctuary
is where special animals are cared for by special people. We hope you will join us in our mission.
